At VoiceTiles, we believe that privacy is a right, not a feature. Our platform is designed to provide high-quality audio tours with maximum anonymity for the listener.
When you scan a VoiceTile and listen to a tour, our infrastructure automatically logs technical requests. These logs contain your IP Address, request type, and browser settings.
This data is strictly used for security purposes (detecting abuse) and to ensure the technical delivery of the audio files to your device.
We believe in keeping data only as long as necessary. Technical logs are automatically deleted after 90 days. After this period, any potential identifying information is permanently removed.
VoiceTiles is a cookie-free platform. We do not place any tracking, marketing, or analytical cookies on your device.
We do not sell or share data with third parties. Our infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We have a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) in place to ensure your technical data is handled according to European GDPR standards.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. However, because we do not store names or accounts, we generally cannot link technical logs to a specific person.
